Company Evolution

In 2001, after a 20+ year run of offering these gaps to the market, Clare, Inc, decided that the High Energy Devices product line in their portfolio no longer fit their company vision and decided to divest these products. They looked no further than their current Production Manager, Larry Crittenden, to sell the product line to. Larry was excited to become an entrepreneur and worked hard to build upon the reputation his predecessors had established. He cherished this business and always wanted to insure that his core values of absolute integrity and the highest levels of customer service were adhered to. Additionally, as a very proud American, Larry made sure that these products continued to be manufactured in the United States.

Sadly, in July 2019, Larry passed away. However, he had the foresight to have a succession plan in place. Brittany Crittenden Hale, his daughter, was poised to take over the reins of High Energy Devices. Ever since she was a little girl, she spent countless hours in the office and production facility and knew the ins and outs of this company. It is now her goal to continue running HED with the same core values and highest expectations that her dad would require from anyone, but especially from her. Just as her father did, Brittany is committed to helping customers do well because she knows HED’s success is measured by their success.
